Profile

After graduation from The National College of Art and Design in 2003, I worked as a designer in Dublin in a number of creative studios until moving to London to further my studies. Since completing the MA illustration at Camberwell College of Arts in 2009, I've been working independently from my studio in south London.

I work mainly within the cultural, publishing and not-for-profit sectors for clients including - The United Nations Research Institute, Orchard Wall Publishing, Open City Docs Fest and Women's Health and Family Services. Throughout all of my work, I strive to create a balance between hand-made and digital processes.

My work has featured in the AOI Images Annual - Best of British Illustration for the past two years (Images 35 and Images 36) and also been published on various illustration blogs including Illustration Age, Sketchbook Magazine and New Sugar. In addition, The Book of Pogonology (a project I undertook during my MA) is held in the special collections of MoMA/Franklin Furnace, Tate Britain, The British Library, The London College of Communication and The National Irish Visual Arts Library.
